Leaving the Scene/Stolen Automobile
The client was charged with multiple felonies after she stole a car that was left running at a gas station, crashed it into a tree, and then fled the scene. Ruth was able to negotiate a dismissal on the auto theft and a misdemeanor for leaving the scene of an accident, with probation and restitution of the deductible on the car insurance.
