DWI Dismissed
While on a long interstate trip the client pulled into a truck stop to take a rest. Unfortunately, he damaged his front fender and tire when he struck a curb. While he was waiting for a tow truck, someone called the police to report him as a drunk driver. The client performed poorly on the field sobriety tests and failed a portable breath test. Despite this evidence, Ruth was able to show that there was no proof that the client was operating a motor vehicle in an intoxicated state. Charges were dismissed before trial.
