Burglary 2nd
The client was observed by police in a closed construction site attempting to leave with tools and charged with a 2nd degree burglary. This was a class D felony with a sentence of up to 7 years in prison. Ruth explained the circumstances to the prosecutor and proved that the client had no intent to steal. The charges were amended to a misdemeanor trespassing with probation.
